B&B Accommodation
B&B accommodation is inclusive of bed and breakfast. All rooms offer tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Each with a private wooden deck leading out from the main bedroom. With views that go on forever down the lush valley and over Victoria Bay.
Some units are recently refurbished in a fresh, white-washed wood seaside feeling. Crisp white linen and fluffy white towels. Each unit is decorated in individual style. Some units are yet to be renovated. Bathrooms all with bath and shower over bath.

- Accommodates 2 people in one king size bed or in two single beds

- Accommodates up to 6 people in two bedrooms
- The spacious main bedroom contains a king size bed plus two single beds
- Two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with shower over bath
- The second bedroom contains two single beds
Four rooms in the original farmhouse, sharing two full bathrooms between them. All rooms are recently refurbished in a contemporary Victorian feel. Cool grey walls with the original beautiful wooden floors lovingly restored. Crisp white linen on all beds and fluffy white towels. Wooden Victorian cabinets combine with modern basins and taps to create a charming classic-contemporary feeling.

Self-catering Accommodation
Our self-catering cottages offer comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, in beautiful settings.
Meals at The Table restaurant may be booked through prior reservation at Front Office.

- One shared bathroom with bath and shower as well as one guest toilet
- Large lounge and dining room looking onto the view of Victoria Bay
- Kitchen flows onto wooden deck looking out onto the view. Perfect for sunrise coffee and rusks or lazy lunches
- Kitchen is equipped with medium-sized fridge, full oven and stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and kitchen utensils
- Our largest self-catering option, Ocean View accommodates up to 10 people in three bedrooms and a two sleeper couches in the lounge area
- The house has two bathrooms and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table
- Enjoy the view from the private wooden deck which leads out from the lounge
- The house is decorated in a classic white-and-blue beach theme and looks out down the valley and over the neighbouring hills to the sea

Carmel Camping / Caravan Park
We have 25 sites available
Experience the beauty of Carmel’s Camping and Caravan park, while enjoying the magnificent Victoria Bay and Outeniqua mountain views, resting in our quiet spaces and many activities too.
Our campsites are divided into small, medium and large. Whether you are a single camper, couple, family or group, we welcome you to our camping experience. All sites have electricity and braai facilities and are close to the separate ladies and men’s ablutions which are serviced daily.

Season Dates
High Season is from 16th December 2025 – 15th January 2026, Easter weekend, Public holidays, Long weekends, School Holidays
Regular Season: 1 March 2025 – 15 December 2025, excluding Easter, Public Holidays, Long weekends and School Holidays which are high season
Low Season is from 16th January 2025 – 28 February 2025
Carmel Check-in / Check-out Times
Check-in time is from 14:00 and all guests are required to sign a registration card upon arrival at Carmel.
Check-out time is by 10:00.
Please remember to bring your swimming/beach towels.
Deposit and Cancellation Policies
Leisure Deposit Policy
- 50% Deposit to be paid within 48 hours of making a reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
- High Season: 50% Deposit to be paid within 48 hours of making a reservation and the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
Leisure Cancellation Policy
- There are strictly no refunds 30 days prior to arrival. (i.e., Full booking is forfeited)
- Deposits are 50% refundable within 60 days of arrival.
- If cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to arrival, deposits are refunded, however there is a 5% (of total booking) deducted as an admin fee.
- High Season: There are strictly no refunds 60 days prior to arrival. (i.e., Full booking is forfeited). Deposits are 50% refundable within 90 days of arrival. If cancellation is made more than 90 days prior to arrival, deposits are refunded, however there is a 5% (of total booking) deducted as an admin fee.
