Group Retreats at Carmel
Carmel is well equipped through our large variety of accommodation types and the numbers of people we can accommodate to create your perfect group retreat.
We work with your group facilitator to discuss the various pricing options around accommodation types and setups, usage of the various meeting facilities, recreational activities, and dining options during your stay at Carmel.
Groups are also welcome to ask for Carmel ministry and recreation activities to be added to their group schedule and can be organised ahead of time.

Conferences at Carmel
Carmel can host conferences of up to 150 people, cinema-style. Conference packages are on offer, ranging from half-day and full-day meetings, to overnight conference stays.
Various venues can be set up for conferencing: The Horizon Room, Jack’s Barn and Kaye’s.
Conference facilities include projectors, flip charts, water and mints, teas, coffees and light snacks for morning and afternoon breaks.

Weddings at Carmel
Wedding Ceremony
Let us help make your special day perfectly wonderful. Our thatched chapel seats 90 people and with its large glass windows, enjoys sweeping views down onto Victoria Bay. The chapel is equipped with a piano and projector facilities.
Wedding Reception
Your wedding reception can be held either in the dining room or Jack’s Barn. The dining room seats 90 people at tables of 9 and looks out onto the Victoria Bay view. The Barn seats 120 people at tables of 10.
Catering is all done by Carmel. Our wedding team will help develop a delicious dining menu for your desires across the day.
