“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you…, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Greetings from Carmel
The season of rebuilding is here, and we are thankful to the Lord for calling willing hearts to join the community as we press forward in all that He has purposed for Carmel. As in the time of Nehemiah, the walls of Jerusalem were in ruins, but God made a way, despite much opposition.
It is, therefore, my absolute pleasure to let you know about the partnership that we have begun with Ethnos Movement International (EMI). EMI is an inter-denominational Christian mission organization whose vision and values aligns to the heart of Carmel. We look forward to working together to focus on ministry as we seek God for the season ahead.
The Carmel Community had a wonderful time of prayer on Heritage Day going through the themes of repentance, restoration, and unity; rededicating ourselves and Carmel to God. Through sharing the restoring love of Jesus, through hospitality, our hearts’ desire is to provide a spiritual sanctuary for all people, to facilitate rest and restoration. And to create a community that helps to equip, train and disciple believers of Jesus.
May this become a reality as we continue to walk in faith and be led by the Spirit of Almighty God.
